Offering the Leadership for Climate-Resilient Fisheries (LCRF) fellowship is something that the Sustainable Ocean Alliance and Environmental Defence Fund are happy to do. This programme helps early-career change-makers and members of the fishing community who are promoting the ecological and socioeconomic resilience of fisheries and their communities to climate change. The Climate-Resilient Fisheries and Oceans teams from the Sustainable Ocean Alliance and the Environmental Defence Fund provide fellows with grant funding and capacity-building experiences in the form of mentoring and training
Through the fellowship, SOA and EDF hope to create a network of leaders with a focus on fisheries who are knowledgeable about climate resilience and know how to push locally relevant responses to climate change adaptation and mitigation.
