Primary and secondary school students between the ages of 11 and 19 are now eligible to participate in the Science Without Borders Challenge, with scholarships of up to $500 granted to the winning submissions.
This yearly contest encourages students to be imaginative while raising public awareness of the importance of preserving, safeguarding, and restoring the seas and aquatic resources around the world.
The Sixth Extinction is the focus of the 2023 Science without Borders Challenge. You may contribute to raising awareness about endangered animals for this year’s competition. The Foundation challenges students to produce a work of art that emphasizes the value and beauty of a marine species that is in danger of going extinct.
Benefits
The winners of the 2023 Science Without Borders Challenge will be awarded with the following scholarships:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $350
- 3rd Place: $200
The organisers will also offer a “People’s Choice” award, where the winners in each age group will receive a $50 scholarship.
Eligibility
The age range for participants in this international art competition is 11 to 19. The equivalent of a home school or elementary or secondary enrollment is required for students. Students at higher education institutions are not permitted to enter this contest.
First, second, and third place prizes will be given for each of the two age-based categories in which the work will be judged:
- Students 11-14 years old
- Students 15-19 years old
