The Climate Change Coalition (CCAC) is calling for proposals to accelerate the implementation of its 2030 Strategy to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) in line with the Paris Agreement’s goals.
The strategy aims to reduce methane and black carbon emissions by 45% and 70%, respectively, and hydrofluorocarbon emissions by almost completely eliminating them by 2050.
The call for proposals requires projects to propose innovative approaches to mitigate SLCP emissions in sectors like agriculture, cooling, fossil fuels, heavy-duty vehicles, household energy, or waste, aligning with the CCAC’s strategies.
Eligibility
Only non-profit organisations, such as governmental bodies, intergovernmental organisations, and NGOs, are eligible for funding from the CCAC. For-profit organisations are only permitted to take part in projects as end users, co-funders, or stakeholders.
